 If you are around children any amount of time, you’ll probably hear a familiar phrase during disagreements: “It’s not my fault.” From a very early age, we naturally learn to shift blame from ourselves to other people. If our parents and other influential people don’t teach us to be powerful and responsible for our choices, we will carry this powerless, responsibility-shifting behavior into adulthood. If your parents taught you to be responsible for your choices, then you should go home and thank them. It’s a rare gift.
Unfortunately, there are a lot of powerless adults running around out there.

This is your time for the bumper crop. This is your time to see the green light. This is your moment to walk out on that stage. This is your time to put your hand to the Spirit led business plan. This is your time to say no once and for all to the many things that distract you... The fastest way to dig yourself out of an internal hole is to look for the light.
Not just any light, but the light cascading on the ladder of gratitude and appreciation. It is the key in turning things around for you. Gratitude and appreciation will dig you out of your slump. So climb aboard! It will guide you up to where the light shines, where you can warm your soul. If you are looking through the darkness of despair, you will remain cold and calloused. Place yourself in the light. Let it warm your eyes and soften your heart. Choose today to live and abide in My presence. Receive My grace, which will allow you to express your gratitude and appreciation. The warmth of My love will envelop you and rescue you from the cave of your thoughts and daunting surroundings. Is your life a walk with God or a walk with a strategic plan? Is it an adventure of faith or a blueprint you put together? I've learned that God does not give us all the details BUT He...  You've been so programmed by the world's ways of what they call work. I am not some big "CEO" in the sky whom you must bow to, whom you have no relationship with. Who makes all kinds of demands of you. No, quite the opposite. Haven't you always admired My humble approach? Do you know that you can get a lot more done through a relationship with Me than you can through laws, protocols, tradition, and principles alone? Those are the typical standards that you find in the wild rat race going on in the earth...
 I've been reading on Joseph. His life is astounding and many of us probably relate to his experience, especially pertaining to his relationships with those closest to him.
The passage says that when his brothers saw him coming to them from afar, they said "Here comes this dreamer!" Clearly, Joseph had vision for something greater than what his brothers ever imagined. He caught a glimpse of his identity before God and it rocked him. He shared it with them out of excitement which unbeknownst to Joseph, was not a good idea. Joseph wasn't expecting it, but him sharing backfired...  I(Papa God), have called many to run their own business. That is perhaps why it is not working out for them so well, as they lay down their lives for another man’s business. Yes, there are times and seasons when...  Have you ever thought about what it means, really means, to be made in God's image as it says in Genesis 1:26?
This is something I have spent much time meditating on over the years, especially when I was still in clinical practice. I would have patients coming to me with lots of baggage, which included all kinds of evaluations and assessments of all their learning problems and emotional issues. Although I have a healthy respect for the diagnostic tools they had gone through and that I had been trained to administer, I felt we had to dig below the surface of the issues to separate out the real person from the person they had become... |
