Art Parables...by Amy Meyer
A picture is worth a thousand words, they say. I have always enjoyed expressing the heart of God with art, in all of its wondrous colors. My art pieces are prophetic in nature. Many of the paintings have messages and meanings in them straight from Papa God.
I am a self taught artist. My Favorite Art Medians are Oils & Oil Pastels. I started out drawing with pencil when I was very young and enjoyed sharing my work with family and friends. I then moved into watercolor pencils, oil pastels and now oil paints. It's the richness, depth, and vibrancy of the oil colors that grip my attention.
I grew up in beautiful Oregon and have lived many places since, including Hawaii. Everywhere I travel the colors never seem to end and the majesty of God's creation never ceases to amaze me.
My desire is that my paintings will encourage and remind you, as they hang in your home, of the goodness of Papa God towards you. Through His creation, recreation, and His heart to heart messages.
