![]() This is a vision and word over Portland that I received from the Lord back in 2003, but it was not time to release it then. While in prayer this morning he said it is now time to release the word over Portland. My wife and I have spent many years living in and moving about the city of Portland. It is a special place and it is still The City of Roses. A Cry from The Port of Portland Portland and America, you are about to smell the fragrance of Heaven coming out of Oregon in a way you have never known. All eyes are on you Portland, because of your rich heritage and glorious future. Can you hear the cry? Can you hear the cry from the Port? The Port of Portland has been crying out for its ship to come in. The ship of hope, restoration, and deliverance. There has been a ship in the Port, dominating and spreading its disease throughout the region. Onboard this ship there are many tools, plans, and cargo. They have been brought in on assignment and have been free to move about the city as they please. The crew on the ship has been on assignment from their chief and from the land from which they came. They move about throughout the city delivering and dropping their cargo wherever they please. When the cargo is brought to its assigned place it’s opened to spread disease in the minds of the people. The crew of this ship are skilled. They are journeymen to come in, deliver their material, and steal hearts. Just like a player would do to their date to get what they want.
This ship that has docked itself at the Port has been strong. It’s ropes and chains have been anchored well. The name of the front of the ship has shown itself brightly and the name is called Deception and False Truth. This ship has indeed come on assignment into the Port and welcomed in to buy parts form those who have turned away from hope and restoration. The bridges have opened up and have allowed the ship to come and go when it needs reinforcement. It’s allowed to go just as freely as it was allowed to come in the beginning. The dockworkers know well how to accommodate this great vessel because they have befriended its crew and enjoy their company. The chains and ropes from the ship have an appearance of strength and power because of its size, and many are taken by the beauty of the ship as they gaze upon this massive “work of art”. But this is a fabrication and a counterfeit of what is an empowering display of art. Many have been held captive by the influence of what the vessel brings. They love to see it sitting there in all of its glory on the outside, but on the inside, they know that somethings is not right deep down. Yet they continue to be awed by its huge crates that are hoisted down by the ship’s cranes; bringing their goods from far-away lands. Now, I am seeing that the days of the ship are numbered, because there are spots of erosion in the ship’s hull. Where there was once great strength in the steel, new water was now being taken in through the bottom of the ship. The crew was oblivious to it and continued to operate as normal, unaware their ship of great strength was about to sink. As I pondered what this meant, I looked in the distance and saw another vessel that was headed straight for the same Port and it was huge; three to four times the size of the one that was docked in the port. The sound of the ships horn was loud and thunderous. It could be heard from miles away. It sounded like a majestic symphony skilled, tried and true. This ship was pure white, so white it was glowing like a city set on a hill or an enormous lighthouse seen from miles away. As it got closer to the Port, the light reflecting off of it filled every part of the city. I saw it shining deep into the water, through the buildings, homes, over the freeways, and over the mountains. As the ship approached the Port it sliced through the water with ease. Nothing could keep it from coming. I also saw the crew on this “white ship”. They were well trained, discipline, and dressed in white. They were ready, awake and alert. A crew with an assignment that was from the heart, in which they were willing to die for. As this great vessel approached, I saw the other vessel beginning to break away from the dock as if it were ready to turn to defend its position. But as it turned, the ship’s hull began to break apart and take on water. The back end began to sink and some of the crew and cargo sank with it. The rest of the cargo was thrown overboard to try and save the ship and some of the crew tried to save themselves by jumping overboard. But to no avail the ship sank. The ship sank because of the magnitude of the glory of the vessel that was approaching. The sound and movement of the ship that was ordained to be there was too much for the vessel of deception to handle. The great vessel that was fast approaching the Port had cargo that was made of eternal substance and it was on a mission of no return. The sound of the vessel began to change the atmosphere before it even arrived. The people that were standing near the docks and around the city had known that something had changed when they stopped getting their usual cargo. When they saw their weakened vessel beginning to sink, they attempted to save their cargo, but they were too late. As the new, glorious ship began to come through the canal and into the Port, some of those who lived in and around the city who were loyal to the ship called Deception, began to pack up and leave. But some who mocked and scoffed at the sight of the other ship began to proclaim this is real and genuine. They began to run down to the Port and celebrate its arrival. As it came through the canal, I began to see a great light coming from every portion of the ship. As this great ship came into dock at the Port of Portland, the skilled crew knew their exact place aboard the ship. Each one would begin to throw anchor lines, chains and ropes that were made of gold, ivory, silver and precious gems. Their strength was unbreakable, yet light in weight. The engine of this great white ship was enormous, and because of its size and power it was easy to hold it in place as it came to rest at the Port. It didn’t need a massive anchor like the other vessel because the ships motor was always running and fueled by Heavens purpose and passion. As the lightweight chains and ropes of beauty were fastened to the dock, everything began to change. The smell of rotten stench that had been there for so long began to dissipate at the fragrance of mercy, love, joy, hope, peace, and restoration. The fragrance began to permeate everything! The crew then began to file one by one out of the side of the ship and out of the top in perfect rank and order. Each one carrying cargo that was unique and different. As they walked throughout the Port they began to flood the city and region delivering their cargo to those who were receptive...to those whom they had orders to give the cargo to. As each person began to open their cargo, they soon realized what they had been missing and longing for. The cargo they had been so used to in the past no longer had any hold because of the beauty of what this new cargo stood for. As the people took the cargo back to their own homes, hope, restoration, truth, purpose, and destiny would begin to shape, build and mold that which had been defiled by deception and false truth. The ship’s crew would then return back to the ship and begin to reload right there in the Port. There was an eternal portal of replenishment there so that there wasn’t a need for the ship to go somewhere for more supplies. This ship was here there stay. It was being supplied and multiplied through Heaven’s portal. As each member would re-load to go out and give more cargo to those who wanted and needed it, you would see some that remained onboard to keep watch and take care of their assigned duties. Some were even leaning over the front of the ships bow and hanging down on the ropes polishing the words that were written on the front of it; Hope, Restoration, Faithful & True. Yes, the name of this great vessel. As the crew came and went from the ship, they left behind glowing footsteps. Many people were intrigues by this and would come to step in the glow and be transformed. In return those that came would turn and make their own glowing tracks delivering precious cargo as well. Those who hear have ears to hear these words, take the precious cargo you have been given and go throughout the city and region. Deliver the glow of hope and restoration that is faithful and true. Portland is calling you! Do not delay! You have the goods, and the glow to get the job done. Go in faith and know that your assignment will be carried out with honor, because this ship that is now in the Port is here to stay! Remaining in His glow, John Meyer
